Delicious home cooked meals in the local cafes In the Texas Hill Country are hard to beat.  There are also restaurants specializing in German food, good old Texas barbeque, Chinese food, Italian food, Mexican food, and more.

Be sure to stop at the "world famous" Bluebonnet Cafe in Marble Falls.

There is quite a history to the Texas Hill Country and along with the history are many historic homes and buildings in the area.   Bring along your camera for some great shots of the buildings

You can easily launch your boat at most of the 8 lakes in the Texas Hill country.  Some of the lakes have marina slips where you can dock your boat by the month.

If you don't have a boat, you can usually rent a boat or jet ski locally.

The fishing is great on Texas lakes.   Whether you are fishing for striped bass, white bass, catfish or other fish, you will enjoy fishing the hill country lakes.
